So I got an email this morning of someone that apparently follows my blog — for what, I can’t figure out — and asks why I no longer post nude photos anymore and then got smart with me, wondering if I was getting too old, or if I gained new morals. Obviously not a follower of the blog so much for what I have to say — for which I have nothing — but for the nude photos I post for free. Oh cool, a bunch of little birds have gathered on my porch’s railing.

I was going to post something on the fact that it’s Friday the 13th so tonight we’ll be playing the entire Friday the 13th filmography — although I’d prefer Nightmare On Elm Street or Hellraiser, but it’s not always up to me.

Well then, I’m at work now and about to get into a long 40 minute set of commercial free music. The only nude photo I have on the station’s database is posted for all of you who wanted your tit-fix for the day. Enjoy it — for what’s worth.

There you go then.

It has become clear over the years of who and what you are. I know you. I know all of you. I know the basis of what makes you who you are and why it’s important to hate on other people’s posts. I know what it is that makes it fun for you. I know that the real life on the outside is tough for you and not everything is working out for you – at least not like you expected it. And you use that time to hate on other people’s posts to let it out a bit. To have some fun and to get a quick laugh at other people’s expense.

I know you might be cool to hang out with in real life. And to those that really don’t know you, but still like you, this is something you don’t really talk about because you know those girls (or guys, or whatever you are in to) who knew that you were a first-class loser, would reject you. You’ve already figured that out when this was a cool thing to do — ten years ago.

Most of you are middle-aged losers who never got the dream girl – or the dream job – or the coolest car — or out of your parent’s basement. I know this because in my line of work I’ve met enough of you to know your lives. I know you from YouTube and Twitter and MySpace and Facebook. I know you from Yahoo! News, or OMG! or TMZ. You just go to the top news stories in your mailbox or your homepage and look for anything newsworthy to you. And you sit and wait like a snake waiting for a rat — or sometimes it just comes to you as you open the webpage and you look for the one pleasant comment that riled your ‘nads and post hatred.

But not only do I know you, but you’ve done it so much and so well that we are all knowing you now. And we laugh at it now. And we poke fun at you losers because you have made the big time with all of your trolling. You went overboard when you began posting anti-9/11 posts or anti-Katy Perry posts or you began posting how much you thought Rebecca Black’s “Friday” was a cool song and haters can go fuck themselves. See, we know you now.

You look for cute things that make people happy, or cool songs that keep people remembering their youth warmly with a quick share to other posters and you shit on them like you would your own former girlfriend, who left you and will forever be ‘the one that got away’.

See, you will always be remembered for the one that got left behind. We will forever share our memories online. We will forever be watching videos on YouTube and discussing our pasts with others and you will forever show up just to piss someone off. We know this. And we also know who you are at work. We also know where you come from and why you’re just an asshole who has no true self worth in life. Everything is messed up for you and you want to make yourself feel better — whether it’s about your body, or the girl you no longer can have, or the fact that you have to keep spending money on your beat up car, or the fact that your mother is giving you an ultimatum to get out of her garage or basement — or your old bedroom.

You know who you are and you know why you do it. You know you’re the real joke and you know now that we are beginning to be onto you. And you make it easy for a new generation of internet goers to laugh at you because you’ve done your time and now you’re going to have to gun down some stranger in a mall before putting the gun to your own head. We know you are in that class because we know enough of those murder-suicide guys to know that trolling was a fun hobby for a solid 85% of them. We know this, man…

…it’s just too bad that you don’t.

..not because of his musical talents or his looks or charm. Sick of the world hating those that like him and appreciate him. I’m reminded of my father’s visit to my bedroom one day in 1977 as I was listening to a Bee Gees record and my father wanting to share in my musical interest at the moment. He couldn’t appreciate my taste in music because, to him, was nothing special. Then my father came in another day and handed me The Beatles’ White Album (1968). At first it didn’t have the thumping disco quality of the Bee Gees but it certainly had ‘something’. Before the year was up I had put up my Bee Gees shoes and put on my Beatles records. Since then The Beatles have become my greatest favorites.

Perception. Its how I took it in and how it was presented to me. I fell for its flavor and became a follower. Justin Beiber, much like the Bee Gees to my father in 1977, is not to my taste but the kids who have discovered his music give its claim of significance and we don’t understand. My father got lucky to hae given me the Beatles record but in many cases, that scenerio doesn’t always work the same.

Somebody asked online; “Why is A Clockwork Orange an amazing movie?” A Clockwork Orange is ‘amazing’ because it is an innovation of the time. Many people went in to see the movie in 1971 and came out claiming that the experience was ‘amazing’. Granted, many came out puking over what they had seen, but the general masses agreed that it was ‘amazing’. The Beatles still sell millions of CDs, Elvis is still The King, Lucille Ball is still the Queen of Comedy, Jimi Hendrix is still the Greatest Guitarist ever. Why?

Jim Hendrix, Lucille Ball, The Beatles, Elvis Presley and A Clockwork Orange have all had the unique title of being something we had never experienced before. And if that is enough for the general masses to appreciate and respect, then they will continue their ever-lasting quality of being ‘amazing’.

Justin Beiber? Not amazing, by any means of the word, but to the young-um who discovers him and his music, loves him for his style and his songs, then that one person may forever claim Justin as their own personal ‘amazing’. And you cannot leave it up to me — or you — to tell them different. Your opinion is not important to anyone but yourself and even though you may have people who agree with you, chances are you did not give them their own opinion. And Justin Beiber haters need to realize that they do sound like ignorant and arrogant ‘assholes’ when they display their opinion. And the general masses will determine whether you are right or not.

Not you!

I’m not sick of Justin Beiber, or Lady Gaga or Katy Perry. I don’t know them. I don’t listen to them. I certainly don’t hate them. I just don’t understand them. Well, kind of like when I hated broccoli. Then I tasted it and now I love broccoli. I just didn’t understand broccoli before tasting it and I told my parents that I ‘hated’ broccoli. My father was correct in telling me; “How do you know unless you try it?”

But the world has a large slew of haters who, I guarantee you, don’t know or understand him. Me? Well, I took on the challenge and listened to several Beiber songs and I will attest that I do not like him. I’m not sick of him, but I do, now, understand him. And through my newly formed knowledge, I honestly don’t care for him or his music.

But far be it from me to go around telling anyone about how much I hate him. That only leaves me open to criticism over what I like by those that don’t like my favorites. I don’t appreciate anyone who tells me how much my own music sucks. I’m not interested in what you think of my personal preferences. So far be it from me to tell that 14 year old girl from Oklahoma that her favorite Justin Beiber song sucks. It is only ugly and completely unnecessary to everyone and anyone.

I’m lover of Kate Bush and her music, but the general masses will not agree with me. And I don’t think I’m interested in anyone making me feel bad for my appreciation. Justin Beiber fans! God Bless! Have fun and don’t let us old bats bring you down.

On the tenth anniversary of 9/11, America was in for both a real treat and a great surprise. The treat was a patriotic America coming to together to celebrate the lives and the loves lost on 9/11. We also got to remember the pain felt, and even got a glimpse of the changing of America since September 11th, 2001. And the surprise was the terrorists that threaten a retaliation against America failed! No bombs, no planes, no explosions, no nothing. We were treated to the peaceful day of remembrance and tribute – without the nudging elbow of terrorists poking at us to let us know that they are still there.

Hey guess what? Who gives a shit if they’re still there or not. As far as I’m concerned they can all burn in their mother’s laps with their sisters and fathers holding their hands. The garbage spew they continue to give America is almost a mild whimper and their need for help in their country is increasing and nobody is coming to their aid. And they are about to come begging to us, with empty clay bowls and growling stomachs and we will turn our backs on them – a first for us, but a justifiable move.

It was not only a moment for remembrance for America and our own losses, due to 9/11, but it was also a time to laugh in the face of terrorist pigs who have done enough on this planet and must meet their judgment without their awaiting virgins in heaven – and without the dignity they so love.

A great mental image came to mind – maybe I’ve seen it somewhere or it’s just something that may be commonplace – but the all awaiting virgins in heaven, awaiting for their brave terrorist might turn out to be Trekkies instead of women.

Good call!

Hello. I’m John Michaelson. I am a former classic rock radio disc jockey who has moved into varying other realms of the radio world and all of its surrounding medias in order to expand my horizons as a person and as an entertainer. MY years of classic rock radio has been fun and exciting – mixed with a bit of boorish commentary and a lust for moving forward in life – but only sometimes in reverse. The emails regarding this blog mostly leans towards the fact that there are no comments allowed on here. And I know this. I’m the one who actually made it that way. And here is my reason why:

I refuse to write my ideas and opinions only to have it come back to me like a YouTube video forum page. Some of the most racist, uneducated, boring, senseless, disgusting and nastiest people can be found posting comments on YouTube videos. And I know the idea of ‘Freedom Of Speech’ is at hand, but sometimes it’s only constitutional to take that freedom away from some (but not in a communistic way, but more of a ‘quit showing your ignorance and hatred for the concept of starting a fight’ kind of way.)

I don’t dig being confrontational either online or in person, knowing the internet version of a confrontation has less black eyes and bloody noses but still I don’t dig shoving people around with written or spoken words for either my entertainment value or for my own ‘freedom of speech’ value. I have a few things to say to people, sometimes they are not appreciative, other times just down right confrontational, but usually kept within my own head in order to be appreciated more and not as a rouse for later being compromised in its concepts.

Okay, like a few years back I wrong a blog on the Most Over played Classic Rock Songs. I commented on each songs with a few comical ideas about its being overplayed, but other times more mean-spirited towards anyone who does appreciate and like the song. That is the confrontation I don’t appreciate where my ideas are only there to start a fight with someone who I might even like in person. But in the end, with confrontational and my own hate-filled comments, I just looked like a complete dick. I didn’t delete the offending post but I did make a new comment at the end of it explaining my position on it. I didn’t want to censor myself but I certainly don’t think I have the right to just go off and piss on people’s own ideas of pleasure and enjoyment.

I think that’s the horrible part of “YouTube Comments”. People, in a mean-spirited fashion, like to just take a shit on other’s pleasures and enjoyment for their own personal gain and entertainment. Like my love for Kate Bush’s music and her videos for “Wuthering Heights” is a deeply regarded pleasure for me. But people will come back on YouTube comments with; “She’s gay” or “You don’t know what good music is” – the amount of anti-Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga comments are a book onto themselves. “She’s gay” is not an intellectual comment but only a highly uneducated person’s attempt to rile up others and piss on their pleasure of watching the video and enjoying the song. I mean sometimes this shit can get the blood pressure up and even make some people have a really rotten day – and that was the initial intent of the poster on YouTube – I suspect, because out here in the real world, we don’t just speak to others with “She’s gay”. We usually will express that we don’t know or don’t like it, or that, or her, or him or you.

I appreciate Freedom of Speech as much as any other American and I exercise my rights as much as any one else – but I just can’t see myself pissing in people’s eyes just for the notion of wanting to have fun at other people’s expense. I don’t consider myself a fighter nor do I appreciate shoving people around like a bully and standing on my soapbox to let you know what I think or how stupid you are for liking something.

Why should it be in my best interest to let you know that Justin Beiber is no Beatles? I deeply appreciate the fact that you like what you like and I like what I like. I may not agree with what you like because I don’t understand it but where is it written that’s my place to call you ‘gay’ because you like Beiber? See, I’m not exercising my freedom of speech rights – I’m just being a real dick to you.

Us people being individuals is what makes up the beauty of this world and it’s only to be appreciated and accepted and we should learn from other people’s difference in order to expand our own minds and educate ourselves to the world around us – instead of taking a shit on them for being different.

So no comments are allowed on my blog.

Peace!

Someone wrote on the IMDb forum board for The Pianist and Schindler’s List, that the Holocaust never happened. They submitted documentation claiming so and the paper looked very believable, which is not to say it was true or real. I can make a fake Florida driver’s license with the right kind of computer equipment.

The amazing thing is that millions upon millions of people in a few generations have been brainwashed to believe the Holocaust never happened. 9/11 was not real and millions upon millions of people are stupid to believe it. And in both cases handfuls of people believe in the real opposite truths.
I kind of would prefer to join the masses because I’m a brain-washed idiot who is clueless about my history and the world surrounding me. And to think Roman Polanski’s film is like watching a Disney film of cars driving around with personalities and know how to speak the English language. Yes! Yes, I definitely want to be in that class of people who believe in talking penguins who could tap dance.

He heard something that sounded logical to him, and read something was suitable to his liking, and regard it as facts while the rest of the world and history disagrees with him. I kind of would like to believe OJ Simpson was innocent, or Charles Manson is sane, or that JFK was shot by a monkey in the park, or 9/11 was George Bush’s coverup for a war on Suddam Hussain, or that Bigfoot is my cousin Eddie up there in the Canadian wilderness, or that the guys on Deadliest Catch caught a loch-ness monster of sorts on a 50 year old black and white camera while an entire film crew was filming their episode, or that…

Just think about the amount of believers that follow your ‘facts’ as opposed to the rest of the world who regard him as a nutjob. Think about it. But he won’t because he’s right and everyone else are all wrong. I betcha! I know he’s right and we’re wrong because radical conspiracy theorists never seem to win or lose arguments, but yet neo-Nazis still have to live in a beat up compound of broken down cabins and old double-wides up in the mountains of the Carolinas because an office building just would not be suitable for their cause.

Think about it!

I’ll have to admit that my agreeing that women should have the right to publicly go topless sounds a bit male-ish. Not so much sexist as just another ‘guy’ thing to say. But when you really dig to the heart of the issue, it is certainly about civil rights and the freedom women in most states do not have. Sure, I like breasts, but even more, I don’t like regulations and laws set upon people because of their sex. I feel it is as if the racial laws of ‘coloreds’ not being allowed in ‘white’ places still abide in some cases. Yes, it’s that deep and it is that wrong.

Here, however, is a change in the weather, according to the Christian Post on July 6th, 2011:

“FREE YOUR BREASTS! FREE YOUR MIND!” reads the GoTopless website, an organization that claims women have the same constitutional right that men have to go bare-chested in public.

Women across the country may have a perfect excuse to do just that on August 21. GoTopless has scheduled marches in various cities throughout the U.S. in order to honor National Women’s Equality Day. Women in the marches are expected to go topless, while men are asked to wear bikini tops, to symbolize the need for gender equality. Several cities where marches will take place include: Washington DC, New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles.

“The ultimate goal is for the laws to change on the national level so that women have the same rights as men,” said Lara Terstenjak to the Daily Caller, spokesperson for GoTopless. “As long as men are allowed to be topless in public, women should have the same constitutional right or men should have to cover up in public.”

But not everyone is thrilled about the idea of women ditching their tops. The Christian community is specifically opposed to it.

To go further with the article would be giving the Post their complete radical perspective and this is not the forum for such anarchy. And here we go from the now recognized website, gotopless.org and their latest article:

On Aug. 21, 2011, for the fourth consecutive year, U.S.-based GoTopless.org will stage a national Go-Topless Day protest to proclaim women’s constitutional right to go bare-chested in public. During the protest, while participating women go bare, male participants will cover their chests to comply with gender equal rights by wearing bikini tops or bras.

Sound ridiculous? It’s no more ridiculous than women having to wear tops at all time in this double-standard, legal topless battle.

Again, to go further with the article wouldn’t be fair to the Christian Post so I’ll just keep this nice and simple. And I think my own personal beliefs mentioned above, give you a sense of how the world is turning and that would be a fine change for the likes of me who appreciate the freedoms one deserves as a human – and of course, seeing topless women isn’t too bad of a stretch as well.

AND AGAIN… This is from the Portland Press on April 6th, 2010:

PORTLAND – About two dozen women marched topless from Longfellow Square to Tommy’s Park this afternoon in an effort to erase what they see as a double standard on male and female nudity.

A group of women and men who had shed their tops march down a Congress Street sidewalk from Longfellow Square to Tommy’s Park. They were promoting the freedom of women to be topless in public. The group attracted many amateur and professional photographers.

The women, preceded and followed by several hundred boisterous and mostly male onlookers, many of them carrying cameras, stayed on the sidewalk because they hadn’t obtained a demonstration permit to walk in the street. About a thousand people gathered as the march passed through Monument Square, a mix of demonstrators, supporters, onlookers and those just out enjoying a warm and sunny early-spring day.

After the marchers reached Tommy’s Park in the Old Port, some turned around and walked back to Longfellow Square, but most stayed and mingled in the park. Some happily posed for pictures. Police said there were no incidents and no arrests – nudity is illegal in Maine only if genitals are displayed.

But you must remember, this is not about pornography or for the ‘all-the-way’ rights of going completely naked in public – that’s another thousand years off. This is about women being treated equally, even if they are built different. But not so different that men can’t, or shouldn’t, handle it. But I find on the internet a vast array of guys commenting like 10 year little boys making fun of the ugly kid in class. Pure immaturity and just real lack of respect for a woman because they are amused at breasts being bare, or just too suppressed in real life to respect a woman.

Woman are human, too, and women deserve to choose their freedoms, as much as a man does, to go topless when, in short, we are just people and we two sexes should have enough respect for each other that bare breasts shouldn’t be deemed dirty, nasty, pornographic or even sexual in most cases. I remind you that a point in time where women’s knees, elbows, necks and backs were deemed too sexual in nature that they were banned from being shown publicly but since dismissed. Breasts are as natural to women as their feet and natural in the course of nature as men’s own breasts.

For centuries women have been seen as both unequal to men but yet artistic, in that artists have photographed, sculptured, painted and even written about those beautiful qualities of a woman. As I have grown up, my prepubescent and immature lust for women are all gone, but my mature and adult appreciation for women carries on as one of the very few things I still see as beautiful works of God’s nature.

Thank you, Foreign People Sharing Property Line At My Back Yard, for cooking up some educational dishes that have an odor reminiscent of dead animals I’ve only occasionally encountered in my lifetime. And as nice as you may be to me when we meet while in my backyard working, I’m scared to find out the source of the food you are cooking. Thank you.

Thank you, Driver Of The Car That Dashed Out In Front Of Me Today, for helping me understand that I am not as important as you and for allowing me the knowledge in knowing that I do not own the road, but you do. And I apologize for my selfish knowledge toward those around me. I am humbled now, Ma’m, and I heartfully thank you.

Thank you, Neighbor, from down the street. For allowing me to hear that rap song you seem to love so much, as you drive by every morning at 3 am. I never hear a singer or even an accompanying set of musicians. But the bass in that song is badasssssss. Thank you.

Thank you, Computer Guy In A Small Town That Believes Nobody Else Knows Anything About Computers Like You Do, for making me remember the value of a car salesman’s technique on a bad month. You’ve shown me the way to the value of wasting $1,300 in a world where wasting money is a practice enjoy doing. Thank you also for your understanding that I too, am a sucker and not special, but only one of the crowd. Thank you.

Thank you, American Government, for reminding me of the uglies of smoking and showing me photos of such and reminding me more importantly to watch the History Channel’s documentary on Stalin, followed by Hilter’s Reich, that I meant to watch and would have forgotten had it not been for you. I thank you for reminding me.
